Permanent exhibition

The exhibition in the Trabant Hall of Mannheim Palace stages the history of Mannheim court music. Oval arranged furniture, filigree contemporary and at the same time interpreted in a modern manner, are grouped around historical string instruments. Protagonists with their stories and musical pieces bring the bygone era to life. The color scheme of the themes is taken directly from the pastel tones of the reconstructed stucco ceiling. Individual headphones and seating invite visitors to linger. Delicate typography, the minimalist use of colors and the vivid, albeit restrained, visualization of information round off the overall picture.
