Residential building

This old building with more than 20 years of age and of the sloping roof, is located in the old city of China, Shanghai. The designers wanted to retrofit the design into a modern minimalist style villa – to rejuvenate the old building. The gaol was to simplify the redundant appearance, material and lines, while avoiding too cold and empty feeling – so instead of abandoning all, adding more details and penetrating, let the design be more appealing!
