"Places have a story to tell." The stories can evoke spirituality and take us closer to our culture and heritage. Hook is an augmented reality App that displays hooks or augmented animation related to the culture and heritage of the place based on the Geographic markers. Different hooks or stories are available for the user based on their interest (Culture, religion, spirituality). Watching these things happening in real time is sure to make the younger generation curious and ensure that they revel in their heritage.
This app is a simple but useful way to teach travellers about heritage, religion, history and spirituality through our mobile devices without demanding too much effort. Using geo-tracking and augmented reality integrated in this simple way, could easily have an educational positive effect and maintain knowledge for future generations that would otherwise be lost.
