Gender-based Violence
The economic empowerment of women who are victims of gender-based violence in Vietnam by providing a safe and comfortable working environment so they can develop their core skill set through work-based therapy.
Social enterprise Hopebox helps to break the stigma and the cycle in which Viatnamese women must endure abuse in order to continue in their traditional role as peacekeepers. The iF jury is delighted that Hopebox offers abused women a new start and a hopeful future by giving them a safe place to live, to enable them to earn money and to receive education.
