House of Dual Equilibrium

This project redefines the Taiwanese townhouse by replacing the singular living room with a vertically layered social structure. Addressing the distinct social clocks of a dual-career couple, the design employs acoustic zoning and independent circulation to create this House of Dual Equilibrium. By physically splitting public reception (1F Lounge) from private restoration (Upper floors), it enables simultaneous, non-conflicting social activities. The result is a high-density vertical settlement that balances autonomy with intimacy through architectural precision rather than decorative motifs.
