The OMEN Mindframe headset is focused uniquely on comfort. It features a self-adjusting headband, breathable fabric ear pads, and an active cooling feature that allows for comfort even during extended gaming sessions. HP broke new ground by using a die-cast metal for the ear cup that enables the active Peltier cooling device to conduct heat away from the head, a first for headphones. The metal is hidden from the user by holding the ear cup in a PC-ABS blended plastic, shaped to contain a glowing translucent ring. The metal OMEN logo plate also serves to conduct heat away from the wearer’s head.
