The HP OMEN Sequencer is a backlit desktop keyboard dictated by rigorous human factors. It was designed and tested to deliver the fastest responding gaming keyboard possible. Custom keycap shapes, an enlarged space bar, and offset arrow keys make it easier for quick gaming input, and the opto-mechanical blue switches use light to trigger input ten times faster than traditional mechanical keyboards. These key switches retain the same familiar feel of legacy switches. The keyboard is housed in an aluminum lattice with an internal steel plate for added rigidity. Volume is controlled with a CNC aluminum roller whose knurling was arrived at through user testing.
