The HP ProLiant DL580 G3 server is an enterprise class, 4-way server designed for maximum scalability and high availability. Innovative features include the ability to access processors, memory, hard drives and power suppliers (all from the front or back) while the unit remains secured in the rack, enable rapid response to service events, radically decreasing overall IT costs and server downtime. All removable components are designed to be operated by one hand. Touch point buttons are shaped to invite the hand and color-coded to help users identify which components are hot pluggable (port wine color), and those that require the system to be shut down prior to service (slate blue color).
