The HP design team was challenged to make virtual reality both accessible and comfortable. It had to be light, easy to put on, and easy to setup. And it is. Most other head-worn displays are large, unnatural, uncomfortable, and require complex setup. The HP team designed a headset that uses a display and cameras to mix reality with virtual images. It’s equipped with double the resolution of other headsets, with 9.3 megapixels combined panel resolution, a full-RGB subpixel stripe and an extended 114-degree field. It uses adjustable headbands, fabric, and weight reduction to feel welcoming and familiar. Seeing is believing.
