Heel relief orthosis
The heel relief orthosis for calcaneal fractures reliefs the heel and allows a quicker healing with it. The fracture often occurs during working time, so caused by a work accident. In this context the short therapy period by applying the orthosis is a huge advantage. The principle of the floating heel allows the relief of the calcaneal bone by bracing the longitudinal arch and supporting the calf. Three compression pads provide a gradually increase of loading, from partial to full loading. Among the modern design the new HRO ensures an improved gait pattern in the forefoot region thanks to a new flexible sole.
