Rail grinding train
The HSG II from Vossloh Rail Services utilizes a unique technology in order to enable the grinding of rails at a speed of 80 km / h, which is approx. 10 times faster than with conventional grinding trains. So called preventative grinding ensures that rail faults which could require expensive maintenance measures do not arise. Because of its high grinding speed, HSG II can fit into existing train timetables. The accentuated powerful and dynamic design expresses the key characteristics of the train – efficient performance and speed – in a striking way. The two-dimensional stylistic elements meet the requirements of small series production.
