Hsichih Mazu Temple
Temple
MPI Design LLC.The design for this small temple applies the vertical elements of Gothic architecture. It stretches 45 meters into the sky, creating a dominant structure that exudes a sense of dignity and sacredness. The building's minimalist form, which replaces the visible with the invisible, embraces the local environment, culture, and life of the inhabitants with a design that combines the art of architecture with traditional religious elements to create a modern Taoist temple. The project emphasizes sustainability to make it a pioneer of future temple design and a monument that will last a thousand years.
