Hulot demonstrates how to achieve product longevity by designing highly modular furniture in which repairability and further adaption after years of use are combined with safe, long-lasting, recycled and recyclable materials such as aluminum, wood and recycled leather. This system is designed for the circular economy in which the producer takes long-term responsibility for product repair and refurbishment. This transforms the relationship between the user, producer, and object.
