HÜMA - Post-Earthquake System

System Solution to Save the Earthquake Survivors

Hüma is a command and control system designed to expedite the post-earthquake triage process and enable rescue operations to commence more rapidly. All hardware for Hüma is considered, and the interfaces and products to be used in the system scenario are designed separately. After an earthquake, a hierarchical assignment is created in the command and control system by combining data obtained using UAV and SAR technologies with the targeted installations. Hüma emphasizes the importance of developing an ideal design process that considers the potential impact of a natural disaster, both before, during, and after the event.

JURY STATEMENT

HÜMA is a great example of how design can help map and solve complex systems, such as earthquake rapid response procedures. The approach proposed here is both futuristic and highly realistic.

WINNER STATEMENT

I am deeply honored to receive the prestigious iF DESIGN STUDENT AWARD. This recognition strengthens my motivation and inspires me to continue designing for meaningful impact where it truly matters.
