Hydrus-Oil spill emergency treatment equipment

Water and sanitation

Hydrus is an emergency treatment system for offshore oil spills. In this project, the designer focused on the negative impact of offshore oil spills on water quality. In the event of an offshore oil spill, the crew of an oil tanker or airborne cleanup squad can quickly deliver the right amount of Hydrus equipment and remotely control it to capture the leaked oil and prevent secondary pollution.

JURY STATEMENT

This design concept for emergency capture of marine oil spills is very promising.

WINNER STATEMENT

My environmentally friendly project tries not only to solve a specific problem but also encourage people to look more closely and critically at the changes to our earth's environment.
