Smart triage system

i-Bulance smart triage system makes use of physiological sensing technology like heartbeat and blood pressure to allow medical staff to quickly do triage and reduce the wrong differentiation. The i-Bulance wristband and the smart billboard let the patients know their conditions and order of waiting, reducing their worries while waiting for treatment. It would adjust the order of emergency treatment based on the patient's immediate physiological values, informing immediately in case of emergency. Through i-Bulance APP, the patient's physiological values can be tracked and their location in the hospital for fear of missing the first aid time.

JURY STATEMENT

i-Bulance is a simple concept and a good example of how a physical product and system design can combine in order to improve healthcare. As a wristband is an elegant piece of design that combines easily readable graphics with an unobtrusive piece of wearable technology.
