Self-adaptive T-bar

The T-bar originally developed to move skiers or sled drivers back up the mountain is very basic. Far from comfortable, some people even avoid slopes that use one. IBEX is a one-material solution based on the fin-ray effect. The surface arches opposite to the direction in which the force is applied and does not use any mechanical parts. To leave the seat, you simply relievie the pressure on the surface and it returns to its original position. The split T-bar joined with a torsion bar allows for individual height adjustment. IBEX’s ability to adapt its shape guarantees ergonomic, safe transport for all winter sports enthusiasts.
