IBM eServer xSeries 366

Server

IBM Corporation

The IBM eServer xSeries 366 is the newest rack-optimized server based upon mainframe-inspired technology. Driving critical applications, it excels at performing transaction-intensive, traditional back-office functions. The xSeries 366 introduces a strong, nonetheless elegant, rack appearance. With a pleasing hexagonal texture, the vent pattern is inherently better for airflow. The key design elements are a series of sculptured 2.5” hard disk handles, with blue-accented triggers, that use a simple, one-handed cam action. A front-accessible, drop-down control panel provides component status. These contrasting elements result in a clean, yet serious design.
