Faster and faster computing systems require faster and faster memory. IBM EXP30 Ultra SSD is IBM’s first dedicated Flash storage solution, and responds to the need of scalable ultra-dense storage solutions for high-performance Power CPU systems. Its 30 Solid State Drives (SSDs) are concurrently maintainable and are up to 250 times faster than more traditional hard drives. The color-coded touch points and the slanted profile of the removable EMC shields allows for high visibility of the indicators for each individual drive and it maximizes airflow when paired with other systems.
