Modular tape library
The System Storage TS3310 Tape Library is a modular, scalable tape library designed to address the data storage needs of rapidly growing companies who find themselves space and ressource-constrained with regard to tape backup and other tape applications. Based upon an EIA 5U high modular library, the initial unit contains two LTO tape drives, 36 slots for LTO cartridge storage, and all necessary robotics and controls. It is designed to scale vertically in 5U and 9U expansion modules for increased capacity of LTO tape cartridges, drives, and redundant power supplies. The system is available in both desk-side and EIA rack-mount configurations.
