IBM Watson IoT – Intelligent Building Installation

This design is an interactive, real-time, data-driven media installation that visualizes data gathered from 10,000 sensors at IBM's headquarters in Munich. A mobile app allows visitors to browse this data and thus spot emerging trends relating to the building's use. Various shaders combined with 360° projection mapping on a two-meter-high building model illustrate this very abstract data in a way that is easily comprehensible. Additionally, a seven-chapter story mode explains the idea of IoT in general.
