A Series of Variable Speed Drives

iC7 series is a family of variable speed drives (VSDs). VSDs are used to control the speed of electric motors installed in e.g. buildings, in industry, or at sea. This control typically reduces energy consumption by 15-40%. If VSDs were used in every suitable application, global electricity consumption could be reduced by up to 8%, to aid decarbonization. The iC7 series is highly scalable and modularized, and the design DNA is clear across the various product variants. The design process was user-driven, and the design promotes ease of use for quick installation and service.
