Iceberg Songs

Website

Icebergs are melting. But they’re too far away for society to relate to them emotionally. We used the sounds, arising when icebergs melt, in a unique way: we let international musicians turn them into music – the Iceberg Songs. With the World Climate Conference starting, we staged the impressive songs on our innovative website, using WEB GL technology. Users dived into the mesmerizing fusion of visuals and music for over 1,300 hours, and politicians were urged to act. With our soulful compositions, we managed to overcome the emotional distance from the arctic poles, right into peoples’ minds and hearts, and made a global issue heard worldwide.
