With the iconic aesthetic of KitchenAid's small domestic appliances as a source of inspiration, the 'Iconic fridge' is designed to be a new freestanding Major Appliance entering the brand portfolio. A metal cast and polished handle is prominently placed horizontally on the metal drawn door and recalls the 'trim band' of the stand-mixer. The handle is mounted with KitchenAid's colored medallions on both sides. The chromed ventilation gaps elegantly elevate the door, balance the presence of the handle, and subtly link to the 'streamline' style, whence KitchenAid's stand-mixer derived.
