The inspiration for the Ideapad U300s design came from a journal shape that encourages users to open and discover the inside. Its sides form a clear “U” profile. The front cover is anti-concave which makes the laptop easy to open with just one finger. Ideapad U300s is forged of strong and lightweight billet aluminum and detailed with CNC tools. The metal cover is soft touch coated which makes the cold metal feel natural and gentle. The keyboard placed close to the hinge increases the space for the palmrest and an oversized glass multi-touchpad. D-shaped keys suggest user friendliness and – matched with concave keycaps –provide a superior typing experience.

Lenovo goes its own way. An anodized aluminum housing and special surface treatment imbue the Ideapad U300s with a unique appearance and offer new tactile experiences for the user. With its flat form and ergonomically shaped keys, the notebook exudes high design quality.
