Impulsign

Public transport signage

Impulsign is designed to help charity and NGO fundraising efforts. It combines signage with a transparent OLED screen and card reader, allowing NGOs to show social media-style short films ('stories') to passersby, thus encouraging people to make 'impulse donations'. Impulsign follows the design metaphor of a historic railway clock, which can now also represent the 'Climate Crisis Clock'. Each card’s donation records are saved, and each donation will set the donor’s climate crisis clock back one second as a personal milestone, thus motivating them to donate more frequently on their daily commute.
