Corporate Design

INEC, Ecuador's official government organization for statistics, is not only collecting data but using this data to reflect the wellbeing of the nation in real-time in the form of a new logo. Each of its five circular shapes is a variable that is filled with the colors of Ecuador's flag, according to their evolution. Based on the INEC's data, the logo updates automatically and constantly. As variables change, the form of the logo mutates. Translated into various media applications, the data can be displayed in different shapes, such as words, numbers and graphics.

iF Gold Statement

The project is a visual representation of Ecuador's census data. The way the designers managed to turn hard data and aggregated emotions into a visual and impactful representation is very impressive. It is much more than branding, it is a great example of what design can do in a social context.
