INFINITY BAMBOO FOREST

Entrance passage

At the beginning this annex building of a public passage was necessary to lead to the main building. The main building's concept came from Japanese culture. So that is why we used bamboo images for this space. It is like typical Japanese passage architectures. This project had limited budget, space and time. We decided to cut out some space for design: we just used one straight 20 m space for the passage and the remaining space for storage. We concentrated on an integrated passage design, seeking infinite extent in a finite world. It is only visual, but we can find infinity space in there.
