Infospace Mobile – Elkware Studio

The interior design for the offices of the German branch of Infospace Inc., leading provider of “mobile media”, is a skillful mix of mobile furniture elements to generate a motif of minimalist game landscapes. The rooms are populated by young computer and game geeks developing games for the mobile phone platform. Areas for sitting, lounging and gaming rise up as if pressed straight out of the floor, opening up spaces for storing and hanging up things. All elements appear to blend in ideally with the floor from any position in the room. A playground for big boys to hide and romp about in the everyday grey office world.
