Sauna

Duravit AG

A stone is heated in the fire and carried with a stag’s antler into a tent. The North American Indians performed it for ceremonial cleansing and physical well-being. The original sweat lodge – known as “Inipi” - thus provided the inspiration for a modern designer sauna for bathroom manufacturer, Duravit, who wants to take the sauna out of the cellar and place it in the bathroom and living area. A sauna session also starts with a stone – in the form of a remote-control with display. All units are mounted on a pullout carrier that, in an extension of the sidewall, is fully concealed behind a wooden panel.
