A dual-use waterless toilet for rural Chinese households with elderly people. This toilet is designed to be used in both the sitting and squatting positions. It features a human waste collection and reclamation disposal system, a perfect solution for areas where water is scarce and that lack a functioning sewage system, such as rural parts of western China. The easy-to-clean gray surface is resistant to dirt and scratches. The overall shape of the toilette is full and round, giving it a solid appearance. The toilet seat is relatively light and can be raised from either side, making room for users who wish to use it in a squatting position.
