The IntelliSpace Radiology Keypad is a critical peripheral used in combination with mammography software to support radiologists in reviewing patient information to develop reports that inform diagnosis and treatment plans. Multiple configurations were developed and explored with user input leading to a final design aligned to the expectations of clinicians. Special attention and effort informed the creation of clear tactile indications, a metal scroll wheel for the highest interaction point, and key customization to address the needs of individual clinicians.
