Hospital recovery bay
Preparation and recovery bays are often open bays that present many challenges, including lack of privacy, poorly defined zones, clutter, no lighting control, no tools for calming and therapeutic recuperation. In this design, an overhead canopy was developed to create a defined patient zone. The LED lighting offers 17 calming themes to enhance recovery and provide positive distraction while also allowing for personalization from pediatric themes to calming nature scenes. Exam and reading lighting are also incorporated in the ceiling. This design solution using Philips Ambient Experience can be used for many applications where tunability and recuperation is imperative.
