Digital music player

Apple

A new addition to the iPod family, the iPod mini has the footprint of a business card. At 3.6 ounces, iPod mini holds 1000 songs, has an 8-hour battery life, and comes in silver, gold, green, pink or blue. The Click Wheel integrates the ease of use of the original iPod while saving space by integrating the buttons into the wheel itself. The iPod mini works with iTunes. When the iPod is plugged into a computer with a Firewire or USB 2.0 cable, the iPod automatically charges and all the songs are automatically downloaded into the iPod at the speed of about 10 seconds per CD of music. This minimizes the number of cables and ports needed. The iPod mini works with some new accessories, a belt clip and armband clip. The iPod mini can also connect directly to a Mac or PC by using an iPod dock. The iPod mini is extruded, anodized aluminum. The electronics are contained within the mini tube with twin-shot polycarbonate/ABS plastic end caps Click Wheel and a hard-coated acrylic window.
