With the wired iPod Radio Remote, the user can turn the iPod FM radio on and off, select and change stations, and adjust the volume. In addition, the remote can be used to control slideshow, video, and music playback. The remote control supports FM stations in the frequency band from 87.5MHz to 107.9MHz and 76MHz to 90MHz (Japanese standard) so that users can select different standards when traveling. The familiar interface is used to connect the remote control to the dock connector of the iPod or iPod nano.
