Office building

A starting point were the demands and needs of the drivers, mechanicians, technicians, who required an office building with the robustness of a workshop. The aim is not an alone standing sculpture but a new building, integrated in the urban context – a robust edifice which incorporates in the town landscape. The structure takes part in a dialog with the surrounding, sophisticated, with a hint of a baroque façade; connection with the Wiltener Basilica, the abbey church, with the graveyard wall, the train station. The weathering steel takes the color of the trams and buses – an interpretation of the technical character of the company.
