The spaces created for Janeiro Hotel were designed for leisure and moments of rest. With sweeping vistas of the Atlantic Ocean, and a panoramic view of the Cagarras Islands archipelago, the location determined the concept of the project. This project allowed the designers to elucidate the beauty of Rio de Janeiro’s energetic and tropical vibe. A connection between interior and exterior was created through wide openings onto the imposing and iconic mountains and the endless blue horizon. The interiors have a light and natural feel through an abundance of greenery, natural light, and the strong presence of wood and travertine marble.
