The Japan Pavilion will be a hub for presenting the theme of the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Designing Future Society for Our Lives, and will embody the theme and promote Japan's initiatives. Based on the theme Between Lives, the Japan Pavilion will use biogas power generation with food waste from the Expo site and cutting-edge Japanese technologies that can contribute to the world. By creating a “living pavilion” where materials, resources, technology, and human activities continue to change and evolve, the pavilion will encourage behavioral change among visitors, aimed at sustainable society.
