JARA ISLAND

Brand identity

Gapyeong-County

Jarasum Island is the largest eco-friendly resort in Korea, covering an area of over 660,000 square meters. It is well known within and beyond Korea as the location for the annual Jarasum International Jazz Festival. To increase its attractiveness as a tourist destination, the local authorities decided to redesign its brand identity. They first gathered data through extensive surveys, then redesigned the branding based on the data gathered. The main logo is based on a map of the Island, and is applied in four colors representing the four parts of Jarasum Island.
