Since 2006, topical jazz concerts under the heading jazzwerkstatt have been taking place again at regular intervals in Berlin. Thus, the support association jazzwerkstatt Berlin-Brandenburg e.V. continues the tradition of the legendary Jazzwerkstatt Peitz festivals. Today, giants of the scene like Alexander von Schlippenbach, Peter Brötzmann, and Conny Bauer get together to improvise. The associations logo and communication media express the studio character of this kind of music: Everything is handmade, sturdy and genuine.
