The collaboration between Harman and Calty Design Research has resulted in an innovative audio experience for adventure enthusiasts in the 2024 Toyota Tacoma – a removable JBL Bluetooth speaker. This design caters to customers who are outdoor enthusiasts, enabling them to take their beloved JBL sound with them on their adventures, whether it's a trail, campfire, or beyond. Notably, this unique design securely docks into the vehicle's instrument panel functioning as a center channel speaker, and can be effortlessly undocked to serve as a standalone Bluetooth speaker, a groundbreaking feature previously unseen in the automotive industry.
