English Victoria Style – these three British words implicate more than the features extravagance, embellishment and fancy in the era of colony. People also know to say that this is the art restoration style in the 19th century when Queen Victoria in the United Kingdom was on the throne from 1837 to 1901. It is the “Victorian Style” that reinterprets the meaning of classic, abandons the rational esthetics of machines and introduces a new definition for art value in human lives. For an era of fast changes in politics, economics and society in the 19th century, the most significant result is the dramatic increase of affluent middle class.
