The client wanted the space to be a cinema and a performing arts venue, so some of the screening rooms double as auditoriums and have actual stages for live performances of all kinds. The designers hoped this project would also provide a space for actors and talented performers to carry out live shows, promoting social interaction among the local communities and encouraging more people to appreciate the dramatic arts. They came up with stage lighting and spotlights as the central theme of the building's interior. The budget was limited—for the auditoriums, flat acoustic panels in various colors were used to create unique patterns—a cost-efficient solution.
