Multifunctional display

In “Precision Farming”, the integration of machines, GPS systems and PCs gains importance. The John Deere GreenStar Display 2100 (21 cm diagonal size) meets the ISO 11783 standard and has been designed to accommodate four different types of functions in one device: 1. Controlling implements: After connecting with an implement, all handling functions are automatically downloaded to the monitor. 2. Performance monitor: The display can show up to eleven machine parameters. 3. Satellite-Guidance: All functions of the John Deere DGPS-based guidance system “AutoTrac” can be handled on the GreenStar Display 2100 as of 2006. 4. Integrated automatic documentation: The GreenStar Display 2100 automatically handles the documentation of field work and chemicals output, including the recording of information on a data card.
