Exhibition
LIXIL Corporation LIXIL GALLERYThis is an exhibition of work by the Japanese architect, Uzo Nishiyama, who was dedicated to research on Japanese housing. Visitors can learn about Japanese living styles in a time of great change in housing in Japan. The exhibition is laid out in such a way as to show as much of his work as possible, therefore sketches are fastened to walls allowing visitors to flip through them themselves. Rather than include other renowned architects of the same period, it was decided to showcase his work into the improvement of domestic architecture. This viewpoint on Uzo Nishiyama, the integration of such a large body of work, and the design details, make this exhibition stand out from others of its type.
