Jungle of Skewers is located in the Beijing Gong Ti (Workers Stadium) commercial area. The floor area of this project is circa 400 m², comprises three main functional spaces which are dining, kitchen and buffet. The dining area is defined by using a historic timber building relocated from a village in Shanxi province. It forms interlinked open and semi-enclosed spaces. The dilapidated building and wild open timber windows blended the spaces with interests. Familiar special references such as "within the building," "below the window," "above the truss," provided a stage that can be remembered, can be told and can be felt.
