Interactive installation

A look through the telescope makes the dinosaurs become alive by expanding their viewers’ experience from the exhibits to an animated Jurassic world. The seven dinosaur skeletons are the stars of Berlin’s Museum of Natural History. Our aim was to give the exhibition a playful touch and to open a door to further information for visitors of all age. By turning one of the seven Jurascopes to an exhibit the animation starts: the dinosaur grows muscles and skin, is relocated to its natural habitat and starts to come into action. Sounds contribute to the animation. After around 30 seconds, the dinosaur changes back into a skeleton.
