An exciting material, tricky conditions and exceptional leeway regarding concept and design: For SUMO, Favini’s extra-heavy, superior quality cardboard, we created a very special sample book in the form of KAMIZUMO, the paper version of the Japanese cult sport. The massive slipcase, which folds into a sturdy game board, contains eight lovingly illustrated characters – each embodying the specific characteristics of its respective material and the applied printing and finishing techniques.
