Kaohsiung National Stadium
Wayfinding system
Forty thousand seats in the stadium cannot change color; this design inverts what was a constraint to become a feature of the design and to underscore the building's essence as "a plain concrete formwork". The design team categorized and layered spatial information to effectively reduce the time users require to find their destination. Using color, pattern, words in English, and numbers, users can easily find the information they need.
