KARAKUSA - The Rhythm of Lines

Installation,Exhibition,Window display

SHISEIDO Co., Ldt.

KARAKUSA - The Rhythm of Lines is an installation work exhibited at the Shiseido Ginza Building, themed around the "curves" and "straight lines" of Shiseido's traditional karakusa pattern. By revisiting the history of karakusa and reinterpreting it as a symbol of future growth, the window display expresses graceful, calligraphy-like curves through the dynamic movement of ribbons. In the entrance area, three-dimensional fixtures inspired by the karakusa motif are installed, creating a space where visitors can experience the history and future of Shiseido's beauty through past packaging and interactive exhibits.
